Our SCBA - SBF Compassion Fund was raised generously from
our corporate sponsors and further supported by the
Singapore Business Federation Foundation.
Our Compassion Fund is available for application by
ALL Employees of our SCBA Member Bars,
to support the needs of our cocktail community through:
A one-time Financial Support due to sudden personal or family hardships
A mental Wellness Benefit by providing an avenue for emotional and mental support for individuals through private counselling sessions by “Safe Space”

SCBA-SBF Compassion Fund
Our SCBA-SBF Foundation Compassion Fund was launched in August 2020 to support our beleaguered industry. To date, the fund has provided financial support to over 40 individual bar staff with $500 per successful applicant during our hospitality industry’s most challenging times.
Many of us continue to face struggles two years on, therefore our Compassion Fund will maintain its support at S$500 per eligible individual. The fund is open to ANY staff – Singaporeans, Permanent Residents, Work Pass Holders alike – from or formerly from SCBA’s list of member bars.
Eligibility Criteria for SCBA - SBF Compassion Fund:
You MUST work for / or have recently worked [last 3 months] at one of our SCBA Member Bars to qualify for this fund.
Financial Support :
For the One-Time Financial Support of $500, applicants MUST be earning a gross monthly salary of $3,400 or less.
Personal Hardships: Notwithstanding, this includes salary reduction (20% or more), job loss (seeking re-employment within SG cocktail community / F&B Industry).
Family Hardships: Notwithstanding, this includes family distress, sudden family financial hardships.
Mental Wellness Benefit: SCBA has partnered with Safe Space™ to provide a mental wellness benefit.
Support of SGD $500 goes towards individual sessions. Support will be in the form of vouchers for use via Safe Space only and applicants MUST be earning a gross monthly salary of $4,000 or less.
Administration of our SCBA - SBF Compassion Fund:
Recognising the importance of discretion, all applications will be handled with confidentiality and by limited SCBA committee and volunteers.
